Privacy policy – ASHA Shiksha website

We do not collect your name, your progress or any health information. What you type in the app stays in your own browser on your own phone.

અમે તમારું નામ, પ્રગતિ કે આરોગ્યની કોઈ માહિતી એકઠી કરતા નથી. ઍપમાં તમે જે લખો છો તે તમારા ફોનના બ્રાઉઝરમાં જ રહે છે.

हम आपका नाम, प्रगति या स्वास्थ्य की कोई जानकारी इकट्ठा नहीं करते। ऐप में आप जो लिखती हैं, वह आपके फ़ोन के ब्राउज़र में ही रहता है।

Information stored on your device

• Your name, village or sub-centre and ASHA ID, if you enter them. They are optional and are used only on your screen and certificates.
• Your language, text size, completed lessons, quiz scores and certificate dates.
• Copies of website pages, so the app and lessons open without internet.

This is saved only in your browser on your device. It is never sent to us. Clearing the browser's site data deletes it.

Advertising

This website shows ads from Google AdSense to cover its running costs. Ads appear on lesson reading pages and on the app's home and module list screens only.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. See also how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown.

Sending a suggestion

If you tap "Send a suggestion", the app opens your own email app with a message addressed to gajerakrupal17@gmail.com. Nothing is sent unless you press Send. Suggestions are used only to improve the lessons and are never shared.

Read aloud

Read-aloud uses your phone's own text-to-speech voice, which follows its own privacy policy.

Website hosting

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like all web hosts, it may record technical information such as IP addresses for security. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Children

ASHA Shiksha is meant for adult health workers. It is not directed at children.

Android app

The Android app has its own privacy policy. It shows no ads and collects no data.
