infoLegal age of marriage
By law, a girl must be at least 18 years old and a boy at least 21 years old to marry. Early marriage harms a girl's health and education.
If you hear of a child marriage, inform the ANM, the Anganwadi worker or call Childline 1098.

Pregnancy before 20 years of age is risky: more anaemia, high BP, difficult delivery, and low birth weight babies. Newly married couples can delay the first pregnancy using condoms or pills.
Give newly married couples the Nayi Pahal kit and explain the methods.
psychologyMental health of adolescents
Watch for adolescents who stay sad, stop going to school, stop eating, fight a lot, or start using tobacco, alcohol or drugs. Listen to them without judging and connect them to the AFHC counsellor or Tele-MANAS 14416.
